Hi

Have you seen who we have this month on our show? Blanca Cobb is a regular guest on CNN, CBC, NBC, Today Show, Dr. Oz, Steve Harvey Show and many others. I am excited to share with you my exclusive interview with her!

This topic is hot! Mastering your On-Camera Communication and Presence - like a Pro. We have been forced to become experts on how to appear on camera, whether it is on Zoom with your team, on TV promoting your business, on the News being the spokesperson for your company or even on social media making videos to grow your business. So how to become good at it? Listen to my conversation with Blanca!

Are You Energetic When You Join a Video Call?

One of the tips Blanca Cobb shared with us is that you have to 10X your energy on camera. According to Blanca, this is one of the most significant differences between in-person and on-screen communication. "I'm not talking about being a clown, I'm not talking about being fake or being something that you're not. I'm talking about - you have to project your voice, have some animation, and you have to be more engaging," Blanca reveals.

This can be in: 1) Speaking more clearly and deliberately, 2) Engaging with the audience in a way that keeps them connected and 3) Focused, as well as being more animated.

In my discussion with Blanca we also spoke about: Body Language - Vocal Tone - Technical Setup - Managing Stress - and much, much more.

OUR MISSION is to close the gap of what we were not taught in schools but are expected to know as we grow up!

Support our mission by SUBSCRIBING, SHARING, leave us a REVIEW, and asking QUESTIONS as we always love to hear from you!

On this episode of "Communication Secrets" podcast, Blanca beautifully reminds me and the listeners that people don't want perfectionism - they want realism.

In order to connect with our audience, we must act like humans, not robots. This means being authentic, relatable, and vulnerable, and acknowledging our imperfections. By embracing our humanity and being true to ourselves, it can help us to build stronger connections with others and allow us to deliver more impactful messages.
